Our Mission
Walking the Warrior’s Way helps veterans heal mind, body, and spirit by blending the grounding power of nature, the strength of community, and the timeless tradition of pilgrimage. With every step, warriors rediscover resilience, belonging, and purpose as they navigate the path from military service to civilian life.

Why It Matters
For many veterans, the hardest battles begin after the uniform comes off. PTSD, moral injury, and the struggle to find purpose in civilian life can leave warriors feeling isolated, misunderstood, and alone. Traditional treatments like therapy and medication are important, but they don’t always reach the heart of what’s missing — connection, meaning, and the chance to heal beyond the walls of a clinic.
Walking the Warrior’s Way offers something different. On the Camino de Santiago, veterans find space to release trauma, rediscover identity, and rebuild camaraderie. Together, they walk a path that proves healing is possible and that no warrior has to walk alone.

Get Involved
You can help us take the first steps. Walking the Warrior’s Way is just beginning, and we are raising the seed funding needed to launch our first pilgrimages and build the foundation for lasting impact. Our vision — from sponsoring pilgrimages to creating year-round support networks — is where we are headed, and we can’t get there without you. Whether you give a one-time gift, become a monthly donor, partner with us as a business, or volunteer your time, every contribution ensures that no warrior has to walk alone. Together, we can open the path to healing, belonging, and renewed purpose.
